The Lost and the Newly Found

Earlier today I lost my phone, I think its more of stolen but anyhow. I bought a new phone instead cause I don't want to get the free phone from Smart. It's another 2 year contract for Plan 1200. I think this plan is too much for me although I usually go over the plan every now and then. Still, I prefer to downgrade the plan this June once the plan expires. If I get the free phone I can't anymore.

I got a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone. I got to try it out before I bought it even though the sales clerk was quite hesitant cause you have to buy it first before you can play around with it. See, its a sale if you let the customer win. This phone is very nice, I like the Symbian OS coupled with a touch sensitive feature. I think you have an almost perfect phone here. It has 8Gb of storage space and all the bells and whistles of a try and tested brand phone. I really want an iPhone 3G but I just can't wait 3 months.

The 20k package is a bit much but if you are considering a phone that will last for a long time, I am sure this is money well spent. Unless I lose this one again due to stupidity. :p

Lost My Phone

Had a great last night but I lost my phone, somebody probably stole it from my semi-drunk body. Boo!

Going to the mall to get a brand new phone. Yey!

I have a post paid line so just don't delete my number yet. I'm going to get a replacement today.

Lesson learned. Nobody is going to reach for your pocket for your crown jewels, but for your wallet and phone. hahahaha *i'm in denial.

Work/Life Balance

Sometimes you can't really have it all, or can you? I pray to God that this year will be a balance of personal happiness and professional growth.

Just this month, both were doing so well. But professional growth overtook the other one. I'm still hoping tho that things turn out well since its still too early to tell. Here's to hoping for the best.

My post New Year Resolutions...I know its such an understatement. I just want to see if by next year I will be able to accomplish all of this.

It's not my birthday every month so I shouldn't give myself gifts all the time. ;)
A Fitness First membership is not cheap, maximize it.
An MRT ride is more cost efficient than a cab...except if its raining.
There is no unlimited text and call plan for postpaid lines. Stick to the budget.
Smoking is dangerous to your health...duh. Update: Cutting down already.
Not to work or stay in the office for more than 8 hours. I've clocked in 22 hours.
To travel more, maging lakwatsero ba? Yayen and Ida sama nyo naman ako.

My passport will expire this coming April and am going to renew it now. It's now colored brown and machine-readable, whatever that means. hehe I might need it for travel this month to the US. I remember going thru sh*t (sorry) for the Canadian one. I hope I get it in time cause sayang naman. Bakit kasi parating short notice noh? =)

Did you know they have a pickup service now where you don't have to leave the house to get it renewed? Its more pricey (but not too much) and it takes longer compared to personally going to the DFA . I was very young when I got my passport so I really don't know how I got it, I decided to go to the DFA instead cause I need my passport as soon as possible.

It's the time of year when everything winds down. This year work was definitely interesting...

I trained 9 waves, 180 new hire agents. Conducted up-training for 300 agents.
Terminated 10 people. Moved around in 6 CVG sites. Transferred under 3 Training Delivery Managers. Supported 3 start-up accounts, certified by 7 different foreign clients. Left Manila 4 times for work. 1 canceled Canadian trip. 2 canceled accounts. 2 attempts to relocate for work.

And for next year, it will be another great ramp. Another new account in the horizon. Another site...hello G5. Another boss. Another appraisal, and hopefully another promotion. hehehe See you next year.

Carriedo...Never Again

Never again!...now here's the deal. HR lost all of my 201 file so I HAVE to rebuild it again. Grrr! Am currently on leave trying to sort it out cause it's hard to get it done when you work in the wee hours of the morning...day...night...whatever. Work takes almost 13 hours of my day already, where will I find time?

I need to get my NBI clearance and I have been trying to avoid going to Carriedo cause its been a while, 4 years to be exact. I tried going to POEA yesterday but its for OFWs only...kakagalet!

I just got home from Carriedo. The place is not for the faint of hearts. There are people everywhere. It's a mess. It's hot. I just want to start sweeping but then again I don't want to die of heat. Everything is old and dirty. I got so used to Makati and Ortigas that I realized there are places like these here in Manila. I'm clearly overdressed.hehehe The NBI could have picked a better place but then again.

Anyway, getting a clearance is a breeze and its still fairly accessible despite my ramblings. Instructions were clear and everything is a step by step process with big signs for idiots like me. All in all, it wasn't bad. I have to go back again next week tho to get the clearance cause I got a HIT or something. There might be a Christian Chua terrorist or murderer out there.

Working the finances

Working for a financial account like Citi made me realized that I have made some bad financial choices.

I never imagined I lost money by not reading the fine print. I have to start taking care of where my money goes to, I have to be conscious not only what comes in but also out. I never bothered to check where I stand but is that smart?

I will be making wise decisions from now on when it comes to money esp. now that times are not good elsewhere.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Siena recommended this book to me months back. It's a book by Stephen Covey. It's called The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The book talks about changing the way you think and approach situations; from being reactive to proactive.

I have always been a casual reader but let me just say. I am truly happy I got this book.

I started reading this last week and I learned A LOT. Every couple of pages made me just want to say Aha! all the time. :) It focuses on leadership, perception management, achieving fulfillment, improving character ethics that are essential to our professional and personal success.

I realize that my work involves dealing with all sorts of people, and it is hard to still be YOU. Perception can become a reality even its not true. That is just how things are. It can get very confusing and very frustrating. This book gives you answers on how to overcome challenges and inner battles to become a highly effective individual.

For those who seek to live a full, purposeful and good life; I hope you give this book a try cause I am sure that it is worth your investment.

My Self Appraisal sheet

Every mid-year we have a self appraisal sheet to fill out that assesses our performance and achievements for the last 2 quarters. I was given this sheet 2 weeks ago and still its halfway done. I don't know what to put or am I scared to finish it?

It's not that I didn't do much cause honestly I did tons, AS IN. :D It kinda puts into perspective the ups and down I have been through this past 6 months. Some I am not completely ready to let go just yet. Looking back means it's finally over and I have to start moving on.

I saw something that made my day.

I have been a trainer for quite sometime now and I didn't even bother checking the shared drive of CCT? It is where all scores get saved during new hire training. I finally saw my CCT and PST scorecard like 2 years ago. I didn't realize I had the best scorecard among my co-trainees in CCT and then PST. Back then all I wanted to do was pass. Come to think of it, I really never failed any scorecard after training. For the last 6 months, I also have the best scorecard among us trainers.

There are days when I doubt myself. Really doubt myself. Like lost and so confused. Seeing that buried folder with all the past scores made me realize that I am here because I deserved it. I worked for it and I am worth it. Nobody can tell me otherwise because I know myself. I am certainly not perfect but NOBODY is.

This is probably my last week here in Makati, I have done a wonderful but sometimes thankless job. I should take a bow. No doubts anymore, I think its time for me to go.

July is finally over. July was not good month for me at all. I welcome August cause its a new month. I'm starting over.

This year has been a roller-coaster of emotions and challenges.

Who would imagine I have an opportunity again to grow as a person? This decision is a major one. The thought of moving to a different place excites and scares the shit out of me at the same time.

I feel that I need to do this. It's good to be ambitious, to have goals, to know that you can do better.

Dinner at Dad's Megamall

We were supposed to have an overnight affair but most of us could not make it so we changed plans.

We had dinner with the rest of the training team at Dad's SM Megamall. Siena, Lai, and I went to Greenbelt after for Batman or Mamma Mia. We didn't get to watch because its a Saturday and even the last full show is booked crazy. We ended up drinking somewhere nearby, next to Cena; I think.

It has been a quite a ride. I met a lot of people, been to places, experienced a lot of growing up moments.

Another chapter is about to close, and I am so excited with the new one just around the corner. It's not really goodbye but its sorta is, just not the sad kind. =)

All I can say I have taken it all in now and I am ready to take a chance again. Change is definitely good. Yes, am scared as hell but it's because moving on means you have to find your way again.

I want to say thank you to the people that made it fun. People who believed in me, never faltered, and still have my back. I wish everyone well.

A new phone again after 4 months??? C'mon, talk about expenses here. X(

Geez, I hope this one lasts longer (like my N73 which I used for two years). I got a Nokia N82. It is a 5 megapixel camera like my 'deceased' SE K850i. It came with a 2GB memory, still with xenon flash, built-in WiFi and has a one year warranty (which I thought doesn't matter until now). I am really a Nokia user by heart. I was supposed to get an E61i but it is already phased out so I figured not to get it even if it was way cheaper.

It's 12:43am and I just ate dinner. Didn't have an appetite earlier but got so famished. Now I'm full after raiding the ref and not to mention very sleepy cause its late. =)

Anyhoo, it has been 2 months since starting this new career and I definitely love what I'm doing. It's fulfilling my need to be always the center of attraction. Joke! hehe Seriously, I am having a blast.

I'm not sure if I need to find a place in Makati cause its killing me to go and from work. The hours are very long and its so far away from my place. I think I logged in 18hours of OT for just one week alone. I don't have any time to do anything these days; but I am slowly getting used to my new job. For sure I will be back to my normal routine in record time. I hope. =)

I have a few days off before the next batch arrives so I hope I get time to slowdown a little and just breathe for a moment. Thank you to all who have been understanding for not keeping in touch these past few weeks. See you all soon!

Time flies so fast. It's almost February!!! I still don't know what to go for my summer vacation. hehe I don't know if I go to Bohol, Boracay, or just stay home. Beb can you please make up your mind?

I will be in Cebu next month again and I'm slowly getting used to my new work. Honestly, I think I'm so right for this job. Who would have imagined right? The hours are a bit long, but I'm enjoying it so no worries!

I so admit that my job took center stage this past 2 months. I'm sure that once everything settles down; I should be able to pick up where I left off when it comes to personal matters. Wink wink!

The year that was..

I'm saying goodbye to 2007...I'm really going to miss it.

2007 is by far the best among the others. Simply put; it is the year where I gained so much. A lot of things happened which I am truly grateful for.

I enjoyed the luxury of being able to afford things than last year; from laptops, cellphones, to ipods and digital cameras. Hopefully, I should have gotten it out my system. No more impluse buying! hehe

I got to travel a bit more this year. Went to Batangas, Boracay not once but twice, Cebu, and nearby islands.

I also learned that people will just be people; and you have to accept them for what ithey are worth. What do I get? I gained lots of friends!

Everything went really well but my recent promotion is just the icing that I am been waiting for. I am so thankful to everybody who gave their support.

Lastly, I also found love and happiness in the form of a person. You know who you are! =) At the end of every day, it's so nice to have somebody intently listen to what happened to you during the day.

But regardless of what has transpired this past year, I would like to thank everyone who became part of my life. Everything has a purpose and it wouldn't be the same without you all.

Cebu was fantastic!

Spent 2 weeks in Cebu to train for my new account. It's my first time in Cebu so I really don't know what to expect. I didn't even have time to research about it since I was told I need to go to Cebu in just 3 days.

Cebu is just like Manila; but the air is cleaner, the people are nicer, and is within reach to almost everyw major landmark. We had to pay like 40 bucks just to shuttle from one place to another. Thats cheap!

The hotel was good. Orginally; we were booked at the Waterfront hotel but since they didn't have rooms for all of us, they booked us elsewhere. I'm glad that they did because it was just in front of Ayala Center Cebu.

Life there is simple but in a good way. I would definitely stay there for good; if it weren't for my family here in Manila. =)

I will be flying again to Cebu after the new year to continue my training. Hopefully; we could visit nearby Malapascua beach (Cebu's Boracay) and Bohol too! Can't wait to see the tarsiers!

I still haven't packed my things yet or fixed what I need to do...I think it still hasn't sinked in that I will be leaving for Cebu in 3 days.hehe I hope I get assigned back here in Makati after training because its soooo far but I knew what I got into when I took this job so no regrets!!!

A wonderful early Christmas present..

I never imagined this to be quick, I knew that its going to take a lot of effort and dedication on my part but here I am still stunned and dumbfounded on what has just happened. I finally did it! After 3 tries in a span of a year, I got it! I'm going to be an in-team trainer for one of our newest accounts here. Third time was definitely a charm! =)

I knew from the day I started here that I wanted to try this out. I feel that I was inspired and encouraged by my own trainer to just go for it. And I did, it was tough and sometimes I wondered if this was really what I want. Finding the right moment and oppurtunity was not easy but thank God everything just fell into place.

I'd like to thank so many people but I'd like to thank my team esp. my boss for teaching me about responsibility and accountability. I'm lucky that I have their support. I can honestly say I grew with them during this whole process. I made mistakes left and right but that never stopped me from redeeming myself everyday.

So this is it I guess. Bittersweet in fact. It's so sad that its not going to be with my current program but I have so many wonderful memories with them that no matter where I go all I need to do is just remember that they're happy for me. I'm surely going to miss you all.

Hey im feeling totally fine today...its a good feeling. haha Everything seems to be going well for me lately but I don't want to get so used to this because I'm sure merong times na di ganito.

I was wrong to think that I'm up on a dead end wall. I do have other options, you have to express that intention and be surprised what might happen. =) Altho this is not the best option for me to take right now, nevertheless its an option I'm willing to take if the opportunity presents itself.

It's like 1.30am in the morning and I'm waiting to fall asleep...I'm on a 5 day vacation 3 of which will be spent in Bora again. woopee! I haven't blogged in awhile so here I go...mostly picture picture lang from my new camera kasi.

**Already downloaded Linkin Park albums along with Natalie Imbruglia's greatest hits collection (memories?!) not to mention Alicia Keys' new record...thank god for DSL! Too bad I can't listen to all of em...parang information overload minsan...**

Am already packed and ready to go but I'm not so much looking forward to the awkwardness that I have to deal sooner or later with regards to my hard to read "friend". haha Why does everything have to be complicated?

I also noticed that a lot of people have been resigning, is there some kind of plague and everybody is jumping ship? I'd like to follow too but the years I've spent with my company makes me want to reconsider. Lately I have been enjoying myself too much with work that I have neglected to keep my eye on the ball. I don't think I will get the chance to move up til I sort it out...timing is so freakin hard. The moment I loosened up, you get one up by the other. Shet! Nakaka-frustrate. Of course, I don't want to be stuck doing the same thing. I wished my boss gave me options and let me choose what I want to do.

It's not easy to have a goal but I'm taking it as a challenge of some sorts.

My new Canon Ixus 75

I'm so happy I got my Canon Ixus 75 7.1 megapixel digital camera (19,950 SRP). It took me a long time to decide which brand because our old Kodak 5 megapixel produced some so-so photos and we paid good money for it a year ago. Sobrang hinayang ako sa pera nun...

I think I'm biased with this Canon since I got to use it first hand last September on Boracay. Photos were good so I kinda thought of upgrading.

Anyway, I made sure I don't make the same mistake so I scoured (scour daw o) the net for tons of reviews and today (my birthday) I decided to get one. No more Christmas treat for me since I also just got an Ipod 2 weeks ago. =) Ano ako masaya?

The camera does not dissapoint and I'm happy with the result of the photos. I so in love with the 3 inch LCD screen.hehe I'm now a happy camper.

Okay so I knew they were coming out with new iPods but I saw how much they changed there lineup so I simply got to have one based on my techie lust.haha
Mine is still pretty new and let me say still scratch free. I barely filled the 30GB memory so it kinda threw me off if I should get one again. Getting hooked with techie toys is not cheap.

The iPod touch is so nice but with 8GB/16GB of memory, I don't think it can hold all of my songs and movies. They introduced iPods to collate all of your music in one piece of gadget, it be a shame to leave some albums behind just because there is no more memory available.

I really like the touch screen part but hey its just a novelty, and the new nanos are small its easy to drop and lose it.

Finally everything is now confirmed, my friends and I are officially headed to Boracay in the next few weeks!!! Settled the hotel accommodation and plane ticket today after talking over the details.

Total damage wasn't that bad considering its already off season. For 3 people..3 days and 2 nights; its a reasonable 10k each. We picked the Boracay Regency because we know that weather changes ever so quickly so at least we can still enjoy our trip even indoors.

Tried browsing some reviews of the hotel and so far, its good. Otherwise we wouldn't have picked it. We plan to do some island hopping, snorkeling, etc so I hope the weather really turns out great. I'm so psyched!

After just two days of going back to work, I got sick again. Is this a bad sign?

I'm asking myself if 9 days weren't enough? hehe I was given like 5 days to rest by the doctor due to tonsilitis pharingitis something like that. Let me tell you its not a nice feeling kasi you get fever, chills, and your throat is in pain. So getting it again (less than a month after I originally gotten it) is not good news. You could feel din the concern sa office...like walang pakialam tao dun kaya nga gusto ko na mag resign eh.hahaha

Anyway, I'm writing this update because I had fun with my vacation. I was able to go back to dating, meeting friends, etc. Basically all of my to do list were all completed. All good things must come to an end and kahit I'm bored sa house minsan I still don't want to return to work.

Donne is looking for a flatmate because aalis na yata yung mga kasama niya. I'm seriously considering it because its very expensive and stressful to go to work lalu na if the weather is so bad. At least, iwas sa floods and most of all iwas ma-stranded sa kung saan. One thing nga lang, should I decide to move out/in whatever then I definitely have to stay with my company.

By the way, the fruits of me going back and meeting people again outside my regular circle of acquaintances proved to be...erm...fruitful.hehe Ang dami kong new friends now and its kinda fun kasi sa office naku good luck. Am also seeing/talking to someone, that person makes my day a little bit brighter and meaningful. Makes me aspire for more. Naks!

I hope everything works out fine because I have so much on my plate right now and everything is just piling up one after the other. I guess its what we call life lang naman.

Finally, I'm taking off from work. After more than a year and a half, this is the longest time that I will not be wearing any shoes...just my itsy bitsy Havaianas! hahaha No more traffic, no more hassles, no more everything!!!

I am not sure why I feel so burnt out but if going to work is like punishment already there is something seriously wrong. Everyday you have to perform and to keep going like this every single day is a blessing and a curse. I need CHANGE! I thought about transferring shifts and even departments would be enough to keep me sane but I couldn't because I'm like tied ball and chain already here.

I am ready to move on. I am not getting the support I need. Even the people I work with start to become blank faces. It's becoming that bad.

Don't get me wrong, I am a big boy but sometimes you got to be inspired to work. What am I saying is you can't do it alone. There should always be something to look forward to. Something is better than nothing right? I was always on challenge mode because my lovely boss kept pushing me. Right now I'm so lucky if I even get a pat on the back.

I'm using this time to consider other options. Maybe I just need to rest and take time to slow down because if I put everything I feel in one sentence...I am so stuck in a rut.

I'm sad that we're not that close anymore. I feel that somehow our friendship have this big gap. I don't know why this happened but I guess what's done is done.

It's hard to have this working relationship and know that there is nothing beyond that. I'm not perfect and so are you. I've made mistakes and I'm afraid so do you. Did you ever think that you can be wrong too? You're used to people telling you what you want to hear. Is that what you want? Will that make you feel better? Moving on...Hahaha...I just bought a laptop...and all I can say is it's nice to do stuff without being bothered by everyone. I also installed WIFI so I get on the internet even in the balcony. I've been shopping for some stuff for it but I just try to put it off since everything is expensive now.

I've been checking out some speakers and an optical mouse cause it's hard to use the trackpad and the sound is not that loud. But I'm also looking at this keyboard and mouse combo for my other desktop PC for weeks now...our HP Pavilion's keyboard/mouse looked like it was left under the sun for months...the finish looks washed out and you think you paid big bucks you are going to get at least a good looking keyboard. It still works but it just makes it look annoyingly damn cheap.

Here is the one that I want. Nice eh? It's the Logitech S510 model. It's around 4,000 pesos. Pricey replacement for just an aesthetic upgrade. Wait its not...it says 6 mos of battery life compared to ours which last a mere 1 month.

I still don't think it warrants an immediate trip to the store but the thing is, I've only seen it in 2 stores so I'm not quite sure how it will play out if we hold out on this one.

Trinoma or Triangle North of Manila as they call it was officially opened last May 15 or 16th. After going to FitnessFirst, I went and had a look-see. Mind you it's just a soft opening so there a lot of kinks that needs to be fixed.

All I can say the mall is so huge. Not all shops were open but it safe to say you can now shop around. Most of the shops are flagships stores so all of them are pretty spacious. I really like the Nike store; it's so modern even the Human store looks fierce. :p I can't wait til it's fully opened, it has all my favorite brands housed in one place; Zara...Topman...Viktor jeans...Powerbooks...it's even going to have Belo medical and FitnessFirst (altho its for Platinum members only). It's sorta like Glorietta meets Greenbelt and a dash of Rockwell. It will also have the Rustan's department store which is very good. Now we don't need to go to Ortigas or Makati anymore for top brands and fine dining.

By the way, it's connected to the MRT North Avenue station so anyone from the south can take a break from their usual malling and see it for themselves. There were a couple of complaints tho; the day I went there airconditioning was very weak. Water was not available in all toilets because of some water problems according to the guards. It's also not frequented by cabbies yet so you may need to bring a car or go to nearby SM. It's near a community of informal settlers which bothers me. How come something so upscale has them as it's neighbor. So ironic, isn't it?

It's not easy taking stuff out but I've got so many damn clothes; it's literally bulging for help...from sweaters, jackets, pants, shirts, to socks.

It's starting to get warm now...summer is just a few weeks away.

I feel so refreshed from our Batangas trip. I enjoyed the place so much, it's really a feast on the eyes. Food's not bad too! Anyway going back...friends made the trip so much fun. Get to bond with a few new ones too. Didn't get to swim a lot til the second day. Re-connected with a few people I haven't spent enough time with, and I'm soooo glad nothing has really changed except for lack of quality time to be with each other (which I hope to change soon).

My 8 day vacation started 2 days ago and it's so nice to not worry about work, traffic, and other worldly things!

I plan to eat....okay...pig out...for the next couple of days. I started to lose weight when I changed work schedules and team. Didn't really realize losing weight had negative effects to my health (duh). hehe I'm good now but still need to be mindful about my nutrition now.

Going to the beach tomorrow in Batangas. I'm not into large groups because it defeats the purpose of relaxing but it should be fun because am with my new family. Here is the place...

Hope next pay day, I actually like what I see. My salary is not that bad anymore. More money more problems tho. The bigger cut you get, the higher you go up in the lifestyle ladder.

It's already February...look at how time flies...I tendererd my resignation exactly one year ago and I haven't looked back ever since. I'm so glad I made the right choice even though I was just sorta forced into it.hehe

It's been almost a year now since I started working at this company and it feels I have a second home now. Prospects of career movement are just around the corner. Talk about marking my first year here. :) It's really true that when you spend time in a place long enough, you become very protective of it. That is how I feel about my workplace now. I guess, it won't take long before I realize if making a difference is worth the risk. Anyway, everything has already been set. All I need to do is wait for my turn to do something worthwhile.

So far everything is good. I hope it stays that way.

Woohoo! Here comes the iPhone from Apple. The people who revolutionized the way we hear and do music...is at it again. Am not quite sure if this is revolutionary tho.

Nokia already came out with a phone that plays mp3s, take stunning pictures, and run apps 2 years ago. What's the difference? Marketing baby! Apple has always been able to sell stuff that looks good and do stuff on the side too. :) The iPhone is slated to be released elsewhere in 2008. By then, other stuff should have catched up including Nokia's N95.

If I haven't posted anything in the past few days/weeks, blame it on my DSL connection. I think I don't have to explain anymore why it's super slow. Service is still intermittent and I figure it's still going to be this arrrgh til the end of the month.

I'm also pre-occupied adjusting with my new office mates. They're not bad at all. :) It made me wonder why I was settling with some blah people all this time. I guess you lose some, and definitely you win some. Sometimes it helps to detach yourself from people that makes your life a bit complicated. I'm 26 already and I don't want too much drama in my life. Mundane for now...please.

I kinda lost interest in being proactive in my job. Am I plateauing? Am I slowing down in favor of personal gratification? Right now, I'm confused just as you are. I need to untangle some cables and take a look at where I need to plug into.

I finished my shopping on x'mas day. I'm one of those people who you see rushing around the mall doing some late shopping. I always have a hard time giving gifts. I only know what I like...so a gift from me means I really took the time to figure you out. I gave everyone in my family a present...a Mango bag for my cousin, perfume for my mom, crib for my godson among others...geez...wait til those bills come next month. :)

Just woke up after our team's late x'mas party last night. It was a lot of fun, I laughed so hard!!! Didn't get to sing tho kasi social suicide na yun!!!. I think i had a few bottles of San Mig light and a couple shots of tequila, and was a little bit tipsy!

I bought Ydah a Kami nAPO CD and waddyaknow Carlo gave me one too! Let me tell you the CD is very good. Brings back a lot of (old?) memories.hehe TL gave me a very nice pen, but the nicest thing was the message inside the card. Awww!

I hate bad weather!

I like rain cause it makes all things refreshed and cool but don't like it when everything gets wet including me.

Plans gets ruined y'know if it rains and I'm one of the few people who cancels (at the last minute) when it rains.hehe :)

Finally after months of being a total hermit, I've gone to SM's Mall Of Asia. It's quite big but still feels like every mall out there. It's the same mall with the same store who have the same stuff. Food tho is another thing, I'd like how they manage to fit all kinds of food tastes under one roof. Ate at Gumbo's, and I really like there jambalaya!

I'm still not done with my x'mas shopping...and I still haven't gone to the gym yet. Maybe this week, I will start again.

My first week generally went pretty well. I felt truly at home with the new people I work with. I liked my old work buddies but it is nice to meet new people and have an entirely new work prospective. Kinda gives you the extra oomph in your work.

I should stop making video calls, and uploading pics via my phone. It ain't cheap I tell ya! Might as well post a pic I took a couple of days ago. I dyed my hair a little...cost me my favorite shirt. I dunno whether to complain or not. :( Too late! :)

It's December already. Got to get gifts for everyone. Sigh...I still can't believe my favorite shirt is ruined. Grrr!

This past few weeks, I kinda am a different person. I don't know, I just feel it. I feel different and content. I realized what defines friendship and what undefines it. Having gone thru a lot these months; made me open to new things...to new people. No judgement just acceptance. You need to let go things if it doesn't work for some reason. Fix it if you can but its a two way street so the other 50% shouldn't come from you.

I have been neglecting going to the gym lately...I'm on gym vacation leave too! haha Whats not funny is you pay a monthly due for your gym use so I guess I have to go back sooner than later.

And my cough is gone...almost. Maybe if i should stop smoking for 2 weeks? Blame it to the people I'm with. :)

I didn't get to post something on my birthday so here is a very late update. I'm officially older now.haha Enjoyed that whole week. Went out with friends, spent the day with family, ate lots of free food, and most of all spent all of my cash.hehe Anyway, i was having mini-celebrations so it was kind of fun.

Took a leave on the 18th cuz I don't want to spend the day at work. Ugh! :) I wish I have more leaves cause its fun to get paid without doing any work.

Sorry I have no serious realizations, aha! moments or anything like that this year. To be honest, I'd like to keep it simple and right now I am just happy I'm taking it one day at a time.

I don't have bronchitis like I initially thought...lower respiratory infection I got from getting a cold and not treating it. It's easily treatable tho by antibiotics (which costs around P400 bucks a day). :)

Every year before my birthday...I get sick. Sort of like a little reminder to live each day to the fullest.

I'm also happy that my pay was increased by almost 25 percent. Makes me feel important and appreciated. Add bonuses to that and I think I'm going to hang around a bit longer here.

I'm thinking of a new phone. None yet has striked my fancy. Although an N73 or N70 is making me consider getting one. My 6630 has been with me for 2 years now and I'm not ready to part it with yet. :(

This year I should consider being a little bit more deep, rather than material shallow. But at the end of the day no matter what people say, material things do make you happy.

Fitness First in SM North's The Block is finally now open. I signed up with them 2 months ago because a friend happens to work there. Short story I became a member. I already go to Gold's but when I toured the place 2 days ago, my jaw almost dropped. This place is humongous! This is the biggest FF in the entire chain. I prefer the pint-size Gold's Ortigas because it has so much personality.

The place is what you expect a perfect gym should have. Tho I'm planning to have my membership freezed because the place is not yet finish and I mind construction people! :)

I've called in sick 6 times in the last 4 weeks. Maybe I'm tired with my work or I'm just plain old unlucky. I used to put my game face on and continue to march to work even when I'm sick. Now if I'm feeling under the weather; I take time to rest and slow down.

A close friend of my aunt was recently diagnosed with lung cancer stage 4. It's sad that someone who doesn't smoke can get lung cancer. It is a scary thought that after entertaining the concept we are susceptible to harm or whatever natural force; something like this grabs your 360 degrees.

Have I accomplished what I want to do in life? Have I enjoyed every minute of my day? Or have I lived the life we all desperately want to have? Confused? Me too.

I finally get to post something after a gazillion years....

Did you know that I finally got a new PC. I have been out of lately on whats hot in the computing world. It's nice to be updated. Went around a bunch of computer shops to get an idea what to get.

I want to get a laptop at first because I move around a lot and I want to go wireless but in the end we got an HP Pavilion desktop. Desktops are better than laptops cause it's solid and not to mention faster.

The one that we got came with a 3.0Ghz Pentium D processor, 19 inch LCD monitor, cordless keyboard/mouse. It is just sweet and all so geeky!!! My only damn complaint is the battery of the cordless keyboard stops working after a couple of days.

I don't have a problem about the dues but the convenience is I think going to be an issue. I have to go Wynsum to work out instead of just taking the elevator down to Galleria. And hello? I'm not THAT into working out to go thru the hassle.

I heard FF is planning to open it's doors in SM North Edsa this November so I just might switch cause it's just 10 mins away. I don't want to go ABS-CBN tho. I like Gold's cause I'm already settled and used to there. What I do for friends.

Hey I'm back but sadly its more like 'a just passing by'.

So many things to say...so little time...been working at night after like a year of doing morning shifts. Same old work, nothing has really changed except the time. I miss not going to the mall after work. It's therapy for me! It has an upside tho, I don't spend as much like in food,snacks,etc. I'm not eating as much as I used to. It's hard to gain weight kaya!

1 more week and I'm finally regularized. I hate starting from scratch but hey I am not complaining because this place is sorta growing on me and making the switch was worth it. Maybe that is why I have been doing a good job and being recorgnized for it. I decided not to go to work today after like an eternity of perfect attendance. My sore throat is killing me for days now. Going to the doctor to see what is wrong.

Got to chat with an old friend a week ago. Funny thing is we really never got to talk. We never tied loose ends when I left. I tried. He didn't so thats that. No need to bring dig up bad memories.

Got to run. Hope next time will be more interesting.

Met my ninong last week. It was kinda weird because I don't know him at all. He was in town and he contacted my dad so thats what happened. He saw me 24 years ago and it's only now I got to meet him. Had dinner with him and it was nice...Casual, I would have said it. It was definitely unexpected but I sort of stopped expecting I'd see him at 10.hehe

Better late than never.

I'm finally going to be a ninong! I think I'm ready for that responsibility. I've grown much wiser and stable this past few years. Hey I'm not perfect but who is? I think there is something more to giving gifts during special holidays. Mine weren't actually there but I don't take it against them, but I totally respect those who try.

Speaking of "trying". I definitely want to gain 10lbs in the next 2 months. I know its a big undertaking cause I'm a picky eater and I don't eat like a horse but maybe I got to re-train my brain to eat more and work out. Working out and not really consuming calories is absolutely a no-no. I'm getting there day by day. Let's wait what 2 months of trying can do. :)

Since I don't drive a lot, been getting to it again slowly. I can't afford to take a cab daily (5am sched) so I'm sorta obligated to use the car now to get from point A to B and back. Parking is minimal but gas is a pain in the ass. It's copiously the same as riding a cab but it's less stressful.

Finally, everything seems to be going as planned. I'm getting better with my work. I'm actually ranked #31 out of 600. Though, I promised myself not to be overly conscious about it. Being competitive is probably my strongest nature that I want to tone down. It doesn't mean you're going to get what you want just because you're good at what you do, right?

It's me again. Been out of it lately.

First of all, let me vent. I am so pissed off. Some people definitely don't want other people to move on with their lives. Life is sometimes sick and perverted, you don't know what's up and up.

I've moved on. Isn't that good? I actually never looked back since but that was just wishful thinking. I must say; I should have made sure I did my best to leave things officially settled before doing so. Maybe because you may never know how that will play in your future.

Some lame people just doesn't know enough is enough. I don't point fingers and blame people for crying at loud. Although I should have. I should have burned bridges with everybody that messed with me. Some idiots deserve it.

Hmpf! I'm okay now. Moving on... :)

I know (that you know) that I have not been very frugal lately. I have a list of excuses. You work hard; you play hard. Then again, I want to be financially secured in a few years and this ain't one way of doing things.

Yes you have a car, you have gadgets, you have clothes, memberships to so and so. Then what's next? Am I happy? Maybe yes, but I just don't feel happy now.

I'm so backed up with my blogging. I seem to have forgotten all the things I wanted to say. Oh well, maybe I should write it down or something so I shouldn't forget.

Work is good, social life is kinda so-so. I just don't want to go out anymore esp. when I'm tired. Sometimes I want to leave my hair messy and scruffy. I want to bum around and do nothing.

I tire very easily. Sore here, there and everywhere too. I admit that I am not as strong as I used to be...and as I grow older; aches and pains will be more of a regular thing. Already inquired about a gym membership to whip me back into shape. I was planning to get an iBook for myself but it will set me back a few months if I sign up now. There's a lot of trade offs though and I don't want to make a decision yet. Damn I need to earn more!
